Since a while I've not been updating my blog due to an end year trip with my friends and, edited 600 over pictures taken throughout this trip. After days of planning and booking of hotels, finally, we went on a trip to Penang and Cameron Highland, which falls on the 26th until 29th of April. I think did God did really blessed us throughout the whole trip. As we are traveling to a destination, it was raining, but as soon as we step out off the car, the rain stopped.
Ok, this is the story of our journey. While we are on our way to Penang, we drop by at Kampar to have a glance at the new UTAR Campus. It's basically located away from the Kampar town. Actually I had a little bit of disappointment once I look at the building thoroughly. No doubt that the design of the building is fascinating and the color is kinda 'charming' ...haha, nevertheless, we found out that the lecture hall is way smaller than ours' lecture hall (TARC), but i don't think it's a big deal anyway, because i might be studying there in the future, who knows..haha..so, we hang out in Kampar for around 1 hour and moved on to our main plan. It took us almost 4 hours to arrive Penang. Oh..by the way, there was a climax during this journey, firstly, one of my friends, ah Fong, he is the one who suppose to drive till Penang, but we made a switch of driver at Ipoh. So, I'm the one who drove the car after that. When we were approaching the Penang bridge, the story begun..
Lilian : eh wy, i think ar, the car fuel is running low lar.
I took a glance at the meter then, once i saw the meter, i was like..omfg..the meter is touching the 'E' sign soon.
wy : oh shit lo...how come i didn't even realize the meter at all, i think ar, we don't sufficient fuel to cross over the Penang bridge la..shit man..
Never mind..i said, try to ask the toll guy see whether where is the nearest petrol station.
wy: eh bang, mana ada petrol station? kami dah tak de minyak, macam mane ni?
toll guy: oh..ada...
at that moment..deep inside my heart..there was a big relief...oh god..we're save..
but..the phrase is not an end yet..
toll guy: lepas bridge tu kan..ada petrol station dah..
ok..great..all went into panic situation now. I drove as slow as i could because the car petrol could run out anytime. All along the bridge, i kept telling my friends, no need to worry, 'sure enough petrol one, you guys just enjoy the sea view la, don't worry'. Frankly telling, that time i damn chuak already, deep inside my heart was full of prayers, hoping that we won't be stuck in the middle of the bridge. Luckily, the petrol was sufficient for us to cross the bridge and we finally arrived at the neareast petrol station.
Ok, cut the craps, first day, we went to Queensbay mall, just have a look at there, didn't go into the mall upon request of my friends, so i just wanna show them what it is and where exactly it is. So..here they are..
After that, we went back to our hotel and have a quick rest there. Soon after that, we went to the night market near our hotel, namely Penang Night Market Bazaar.
Anyway, I don't know who is him,
I just took the photo and include that stranger inside the photo
since there are lots of people hanging in the night market.

The next day, we woke up early in the morning at around 6.45am. Our hotel balcony was facing the sea, so I took down this morning sea view.
That is the Shang-ri La Hotel
It's just directly opposite our hotel, frankly telling,
trust me..the hotel looks eerie at night..
After we had had our breakfast at the famous Penang 點心之家, we went to our first destination, which is the Thai Buddist Temple, where there is a world 3rd largest slanting big Buddha located inside the temple. It's just directly opposite our hotel, frankly telling,

Next location is Penang Hill, I still can remember the weather up there was so comfortable and so cold and windy as if I'm lying in my bed in a fully air-conditioned room.

Next. we moved on to the Penang most famous temple, which is Kek Lok Si, located in Air Itam, near Penang Hill too. Unfortunately, the temple was closed upon our arrival. No choice, as we were starving for food at the moment too, we straight drove to the Gurney Drive without further thoughts. No photos was taken at the Gurney Drive because 4 carnivals were hunting for foods. On the following day, after our breakfast at Queensbay, we went to Kek Lok Si again because it's kinda funny if we travel to Penang without visiting this popular temple.
Haha..yea..the same old thing happens again..But this time we were lucky, there was a smart uncle selling 1 liter of petrol for 5 bucks. We refilled 7 bottles, which cost us for RM35, but the meter only went up by 2 slots. So, who said that people leaving in the moutain or jungle doesn't have smart brains? Think twice before you wanna say it again!
Upon our arrival to Cameron, i saw this antique truck..haha..it's not broke down, but guess what, these type of trucks are being used in Cameron.
We went back to our hotel later to have a good rest after a long journey from Penang. Following pictures were taken when we went to Bee Farm, Rose Valley, Cactus Valley, and Strawberry Farm..

After visiting to the bee farm, we got to know that there is a shop in Berinchang kinda famous for their food and the shop is welcomed by most local people. Without any hesitation, we went towards that shop for our lunch. Ok, here comes the funny part. Thanks to our miss Siow Fui Mun,where she brought us to the wrong shop, the shop which we supposed to enter is beside us. Fine, i said to myself, maybe this shop may serve a better meal too. So, this is what we ordered..

After visiting strawberry farm, we started off our journey back to KL. Along the way, there were landslide, mist, and rain throughout the journey, but i think the god did really blessed us. We arrived KL at around 9.30pm. Although the whole journey was tiring, but it was really fun. Frankly telling although it is just a 4 days trip, but we did really enjoy ourselves.
Haha..that's all for today, god bless all of you!!!
